The music of Brazilian composer/pianist Eliane Elias is featured on the acclaimed CD “Impulsive!” by the Danish Radio Jazz Orchestra. Legendary arranger Bob Brookmeyer has crafted a magnificent multi-style show piece using Eliane's sophisticated composition. First we hear an intense Latin groove with blistering ensemble lines. This is followed by a medium swing section with space for soloists before returning to the opening feel. Includes solo opportunities for drums and bass as well.
