Strong and steady, “British” in character, but with the added sounds of many magical and child-like imaginations sprinkled over the top, this piece is a true Christmas gem.

The most accessible of the themes from this popular symphonic poem are perfectly set to allow many of the sections of the orchestra to play the theme and to provide a rousing concluding coda for all to enjoy.
