From the ever popular musical “The King and I”, here is the perfect flute feature for young bands. Written with repetitive rhythmic patterns that are easy to learn and solid scoring for the entire band, this is an enjoyable arrangement that everyone will recognize.

Here is an excellent yet playable march from John Moss that will rehearse easily and sound great. Written in a stately moderate tempo, the march opens with a majestic brass fanfare followed by a statement of the melody by the clarinets. After a contrasting theme is introduced, we return to a harmonized version of the opening fanfare for a powerful finish. (2:40)

Here is a Russian classic that never ceases to stir the emotions of the audience and band alike. Paul uses a combination of tempos and styles to convey the excitement and drama of the original in his outstanding adaptation for young players. There is plenty of variety including melody for the low voices, flourishes for the woodwinds, and an exciting finish for the entire ensemble. (2:05)
