This suite of four movements must surely have been inspired by Harry Potter! Each movement explores magical themes and expressions. 1. Harum Skarum 2. Allahazan 3. Hokus Pokus 4. Abrakh Adabra. Movements may be played individually or as a completely suite of approximately 6 mins 30 secs. This must be a favourtie for young wizards to cast a spell over their audience! Sub-titled New Orleans, this suite sets out to recreate musically the joy of living that exists in the ‘deep south’ city nicknamed the ‘Big Easy’. The four movements are: ‘Mississippi Rag’ echoing the wonderful music of Scott Joplin. ‘Satchmo!’ which is a salute to the great Louis Armstrong. ‘Bourbon Street Blues’ a gentle interlude, nothing to do but relax. Finally ‘Mardi Gras’ a time for the city to erupt into colour, music and dance. Fun to play and fun to listen to! Performance time 6’51”

This international collection reflects the universal attraction of children’s folk-songs. The suite will put a smile on the faces of the audience – and the performers! It comprises: MANN HA SHALOM (an Israeli chant) : THE KIND COUNTRY LOVERS (an English lullaby) : CLAPPING SONG (A clapping game from Ghana) : THE DONKEY’S WALK (A Jamaican rhumba). His contributions to the Prelude Series have firmly established him in this field writing works of great melodic and rhythmic interest. This new suite is no exception! The three movements are: 1. This suite traces mythical legends of the 'Liverbirds'. This audience pleaser, based on the great city of Liverpool, has titles which need no further explanation. 1. Midnight Tango 2. This work tells the story of a handful of events that took place at Richmond Palace, just outside London during the reigns of the tudor Monarchs when this historic town was founded 5000 years ago. The four movements are: 1. Arrival of an Emperor 2. A Dance With the Duke 3. The Queen’s Garden 4. By River, to Whitehall. Performance time 7’20”
